Bright ruby colour. Very concentrated on the nose, with balsamic oak notes, forest fruits, such as raspberries, and violets and some fresh notes of esteva (a local Portuguese resinous bush). A structured and well-balanced wine. On the mouth it shows good quality tannins, concentration and elegance with a long-lasting finish. Produced only in the finest years.

A unique wine with present tannins and floral notes which pair beautifully with salty red meats and cheeses.
